BIKE LOCKERS

Lethbridge College students and employees can store their bicycles in safe, secure and weatherproof bike lockers on campus. 

Installing bike lockers on campus encourages students to participate in healthy, affordable and sustainable transportation while they embark on their academic journey. To rent a locker, visit the LCSA office (CE1350). 

The lockers and upgrades to bicycle racks around campus were the result of a Lethbridge College Students’ Association (LCSA) student referendum in 2021 asking students for their support for using $250,000 from the LCSA Capital Trust Fund. The referendum passed. 

The investment reflects the rise in popularity of cycling and e-bikes and concerns about theft. 

LCSA worked closely with Lethbridge College Facilities Services department to determine locations for concrete foundations to secure the lockers.  The lockers are located near the college main entrance, Instructional Building and Andrews Building.

With three locker locations and renting models, LCSA has made this project affordable and convenient for all users.
