Keanon Braithwaite

Hello/Oki!

My name is Keanon Braithwaite, and I am excited to be running for Vice President of Operations & Finance. As a first-year Business Administration student majoring in Accounting, I have a deep passion for numbers and financial responsibility. My goal is simple: to help students become more financially literate and feel confident in managing their own money.

Some of us receive large sums through student loans, and others work jobs to support themselves through school, but too many students struggle with budgeting or even tracking their expenses. I want to change that. By providing accessible resources and guidance on budgeting, savings, and investments—including TFSAs, RRSPs, and other financial tools—I hope to empower students to make informed financial decisions that benefit them both now and in the future.

A little about me: I grew up in Lethbridge and graduated from Lethbridge Collegiate Institute (LCI) in 2020, where I also played basketball. I’ve worked in sales for several years, selling solar energy solutions and learning firsthand how to communicate, problem-solve, and help people make smart financial choices. Beyond numbers, I’m passionate about living a healthy lifestyle, trying new foods, and enjoying great music.

If elected, I will work hard to ensure that every student has access to the best financial advice that I can provide and work to create resources for you. Let’s build a financially strong student community together!

Vote Keanon for VP of Operations & Finance—because your future starts today.
